Chem 122-Information was given out on the project today. We went over the alcohols, ethers and carboxylic acids today. So far in the text we have been covering organic halides p 311-312, alcohols p 314,315 ; aldehydes and ketones p 316-317 and carboxylic acids p 317 to 318. I also passed out the Sanford Organic Study Sheet. Please start memorizing this.
Chem 121-Today we worked on the Equilibrium Law and Equilibrium Constant(p 486-487) I assigned 9-11 on p 488. Once again we watched another short equilibrium video.

Chem 122-I did a homework check on sheet 5 and 7. A reminder....there will be a quiz tomorrow on alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, cycloalkanes and aromatics. Today we went over three new organic families. They were the organic halides, the aldehydes and ketones.
I also asked people to start thinking about what topic they would like to chose for a project on a pharmaceutical, pesticide or food additive. The lab will be open for the first half of the noonhour today. I will be marking your labs tonight so I can give you an updated mark using labs as 20% of your mark.
Chem 121-We did LeChatelier's Principal.(p 489-494) I assigned p 494 #13 to 15

I assigned 4,5,2,3(sealed flask) from the mole worksheet(the one with a tiny picture of the mole on it) We also checked over the reaction questions from p 154-155. I assigned p 155 #44 b,d,f,h,j. With the time you were given in class, you should find that this homework only takes 15 minutes.
